Quite some time ago, I purchased a Wacom Intuos 4 and thought, this would change everything... well it didn't, I wasn't able to get to where I wanted right away, and I lost interest. Now I was able to get my hands on a Cintiq 12 and the will to learn. I always thought of myself as quite a good drawer, but the digital painting taught me to be humble. Now I decided to start from the beginning, practicing getting help and considering myself as a beginner.
Three 'bigger' drawings and a down...
Well, I really thought things would get easier with just the Wacom, but it seems I have a lot to learn. Especially on the coloring side. My skills are more than limited there. I learned a lot until now, but there is still no discernable workflow nor can I pretend using some specific technique. So I hope in about a year all that will have changed dramatically! ;)
Wacom Intuos IN DA HOUSE!!!
Yay! It finally has arrived! And it is big and black and beautiful and ... well, I skip the details. First thing I did is put the fat grip on the pen. I can't use the buttons on the pens. I do hold pens not like everybody. XD I think this will boost my drawing enthusiasm by 1000. I haven't really drawn for a very long time. But with this tool it makes fun again. Although that now after my first drawing my wrist hurts a bit. But I think that I have to get accustomed to the pen.
And the story waits to begin...
Tomorrow I hope the stuff will arrive! :nerd:
I am doing something huge in Illustrator and I don't know if I'll finish it before RL work picks up again.
A new story begins...
...with my recently purchased MacBookPro, I'll shortly receive a Wacom Intuos 4L and a Samsung 26" LED screen. And I'll be drawing digitally 'til my arm hurts!!!!
